Google’s music streaming service receives numerous updates throughout the year, but the number of new features and improvements is never the same for iOS and Android platforms.

YouTube Music Update Brings Some Great Visual Improvements to iPhone App

According to 9to5Google, the iOS version of YouTube Music is now receiving the gradient background update for the “Now Playing” screen. The redesign simplifies the overall appearance of the “Now Playing” window and makes it easier on the eyes.

These visual changes come with version 7.01 of the app on both iPhones and iPads. However, if you do not see the new gradient background design even after updating, you can close the app and reopen it.
