Previous reports have revealed that Xiaomi is working on the next generation of its book-style foldable phone, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, which is rumored to be the thinnest foldable phone ever on the market.

Now, a phone with the model number 24072PX77C has received a network access certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This device supports the NR SA/NR NSA/TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA/CDMA 1X/GSM standards.

It also supports Tiantong satellite communication and enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) technology. Enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) is a 5G service category that offers increased bandwidth and reduced latency compared to 4G services.

eMBB can enable new applications that require high data rates, such as 8K video streaming, immersive virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR).

According to a leak from Digital Chat Station, the model number represents the Mix Fold 4. The phone could also support 5.5G or 5G-Advanced, which is considered the next step in the evolution of 5G technology.

This advancement is expected to improve 5G in terms of speed, latency, and efficiency.

The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which also powers many of the latest flagship phones like the Xiaomi 14 series.

To power the chipset, it is said to feature a 5000mAh battery (2390mAh + 2485mAh). The phone will offer both wired and wireless fast charging, although the specific charging speeds have not yet been confirmed.

According to a previous leak from Digital Chat Station, the phone will support 100W wired fast charging. For context, the Mix Fold 3 offers 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Mix Fold 4 is also rumored to feature a quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 5X periscope zoom, similar to the previous version.

The primary and ultra-wide sensors in the Mix Fold 4 are expected to be the OV50E and OV13B, respectively.
