Xiaomi Launches Smart Camera C500 Pro in Europe

Xiaomi has expanded its range of smart home products in Europe by launching the Smart Camera C500 Pro.

This camera features a 360-degree rotating angle and is now available for purchase in countries like France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

The Smart Camera C500 Pro boasts a 5-megapixel camera that delivers 3K resolution shots in HDR mode for high-quality images.

Additionally, the camera includes an ultra-low-light mode for capturing colorful shots in dim settings and infrared lighting for clear black-and-white images in complete darkness.

For comprehensive space coverage, it also offers pan and tilt functions with a 360-degree horizontal and 114-degree vertical angle. However, if you desire privacy, there’s a physical lens shield that you can slide up to hide the camera.

Xiaomi Launches Smart Camera C500 Pro in Europe

Additional features of the C500 Pro camera include a microphone and dual-way speaker for two-way communication, dual-band Wi-Fi support, and full encryption. There are also data transfer operations with optional cloud storage for added security.

Control of the Smart Camera C500 Pro is facilitated through the Mi Home app. Users can configure settings such as motion detection, noise alerts, and custom monitoring zones within the app.

The camera is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control options.

The price of the Smart Camera C500 Pro is currently 69.99 euros in France, Spain, Germany, and Italy, and 59.99 British pounds in the United Kingdom. Availability in other markets has not been announced yet.
