Xiaomi recently unveiled the 2025 model of the Redmi Max TV with a massive 100-inch size, catering to the entertainment and gaming needs of enthusiasts in China.

As of today, the TV is officially available for purchase in China. Let’s delve into its pricing and specifications.

The standout feature of the Redmi Max is its huge 100-inch screen, which boasts a 4K resolution. The screen’s refresh rate reaches up to 144Hz with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support.

To handle motion smoothly, the TV utilizes 120Hz MEMC motion compensation. It’s worth noting that there’s a competitive mode that pushes the refresh rate to a higher level of 240Hz.

The screen can produce 1.07 billion colors, meaning it’s a 10-bit screen, covering 94% of the wide DCI-P3 color gamut.

Additionally, the color accuracy rating is around ΔE≈2, indicating a high level of color accuracy. The TV also features Xiaomi’s proprietary Qingshan eye protection technology.

For connectivity, the TV features three HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, an optical input, an AV input, and an antenna port. The device supports two of the three HDMI ports as HDMI 2.1 standard ports to reduce input lag during gaming.

Moreover, the TV supports VRR, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and AMD FreeSync technology for a more responsive gaming experience.

The TV is powered by a quad-core A73 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 for smooth streaming and internet access.

The TV supports multi-function screen mirroring for easy content sharing from mobile devices. You can get a Bluetooth-enabled voice remote control with built-in NFC for easy navigation and interaction.

The device runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS operating system with support for third-party apps. There’s Xiaomi, Xiaomi’s virtual assistant, for smart voice control.

The 2025 edition of the Redmi Max TV is priced at 8999 yuan (about $1243) in China. You can purchase it from JD.com or the company’s official website.

Additionally, Xiaomi offers the Xiaomi TV 3.1 soundbar for free, which usually costs 1499 yuan, if ordered before April 30 or while stocks last.
