Xiaomi Announces 6A USB4 Data Cable with 40 Gbps Transfer Speed

Xiaomi has unveiled the high-speed 6A USB4 data cable in China.

The Xiaomi 6A USB4 cable can achieve transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and supports fast charging up to 240 watts. It can also achieve video transmission of up to 8K at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The new Xiaomi data cable is considered a versatile and durable cable that ensures the smooth transfer of any data/media content. It is available for pre-order in China for 99 yuan (approximately $14).

The Xiaomi 6A USB4 cable supports the PD 3.1 protocol, in addition to the high current 6A, and is compatible with previous Xiaomi fast charging versions: 67W, 90W, and 120W. However, it comes with integrated 240W fast charging.

The cable uses a coaxial core, braided wire body, and a wire length of 1 meter. It can be used with various devices including smartphones, tablets, screens, laptops, and more.

The data line connector has a plug-in and pull-out life of over 10,000 times. The plug’s tensile strength is significantly higher than 100N.

The new high-speed Xiaomi 6A USB4 data cable is available for 99 yuan ($14). It is already available in many retail outlets in China such as JD.com.
