WhatsApp Update Brings Longer Voice Messages in Status Updates

“WABetaInfo” has reported improvements in the voice message feature on WhatsApp, with the recording duration for voice messages in status updates now extended to a full minute.

WhatsApp is testing numerous new features, some of which remain in the beta stage while others progress to the stable release of the app.

Among the features undergoing extensive testing is the voice message feature in status updates, which received an update earlier this year extending the duration to 30 seconds.

“WABetaInfo” has now discovered further improvements to the voice recording feature, which now supports voice recordings up to a full minute in status updates.

This update will be rolled out for the app on both iOS and Android. However, to access this feature, users must manually install the update from the App Store or Google Play Store, as the update will not be available to all users simultaneously.
