The upcoming X100 Ultra phone from Vivo is touted to be a “professional camera that can make calls,” according to an executive in the company.

The phone is expected to make its debut next month alongside the X100s, completing the main X100 series which already includes the official X100 and X100 Pro phones.

As its launch approaches, it’s claimed that the X100 Ultra device has been certified in China by 3C, with model number V2366GA, as per a leak on Weibo by Digital Chat Station.

There will be two versions of the X100 Ultra; this certified version, a “regular” device supporting 5G networks, and another that will feature satellite connectivity, a highly popular feature these days in the Chinese market.

The X100 Ultra will support 80W wired charging, as revealed by the aforementioned certification, which is less than both the X100 and X100 Pro.

Additionally, the Ultra device will feature a “large” battery (supposedly around 5500mAh).

Moreover, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with ample RAM and storage space. It’s also likely to utilize the recently unveiled BlueImage branding for camera technology.
