In March last year, Vivo launched the V40 SE smartphone in Europe, and now another variant is about to join it: the V40 Pro.

This phone has appeared in the NBTC certification database in Thailand under the model number V2347, indicating that it will definitely be sold there.

It has also been spotted on the EE website in the United Kingdom, so its launch in Europe and the UK is also expected.

Rumors suggest that the V40 Pro will end up being renamed the S19 Pro, which was launched in China last month.

If that’s the case, expect the V40 Pro to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, reaching up to 4500 nits brightness and a resolution of 1260 × 2800. The phone is likely to have a triple rear camera system (a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel 2x optical zoom camera, and an 8-megapixel sensor) and a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus. Additionally, it will come with a 5500mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging.

The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor paired with 8/12/16GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage.

The phone will run on Android 14 out of the box, with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 user interface.
