vivo Launches vivo X100s and X100s Pro Phones with Dimensity 9300 Plus Processor

vivo recently unveiled the vivo X100s and X100s Pro phones in the Chinese market, both featuring the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor with some differences in specifications between the two models.

The X100s Pro is powered by the vivo V3 imaging processing chip, while the standard version is equipped with the V2 chip. Additionally, the Pro version differs by featuring a larger IMX989 sensor at 1/0.98 in size.

The Pro version of the X100s is slightly heavier and thicker compared to the standard X100s, measuring 8.91mm thick and weighing 224 grams. It houses a 5400 mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging via USB-C port, as well as 50W wireless charging.

On the other hand, the vivo X100s features a 5100 mAh battery and also supports 100W fast charging. This version is slimmer than the Pro model, measuring 7.8mm thick and weighing 203 grams. Both phones feature IP69 water resistance and IPX8 immersion water resistance standards.

The vivo X100s and X100s Pro phones feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz and a resolution of 1260 by 2800 pixels.

The displays on both phones support 10-bit color depth, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and a 2160Hz dimming rate.

The design of the displays differs between the X100s models, with the standard version featuring a flat-screen design, while the X100s Pro has a curved screen design.

The X100s Pro features a main sensor at 1/0.98 in size with an f/1.75 aperture and optical stabilization, along with a 1/2.76 sensor at 50 megapixels with ultra-wide viewing angles and an f/2.0 aperture. It also includes a 50-megapixel periscope sensor with optical stabilization and an f/2.5 aperture, supporting up to 4.3x optical zoom.

On the other hand, the X100s phone comes with a main sensor at 50 megapixels with an f/1.57 aperture, along with a 50-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide viewing angles. Both phones feature a telephoto periscope camera with a 50-megapixel resolution and an f/2.57 aperture and a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The vivo X100s and X100s Pro phones are available in titanium, white, and dark gray colors, with the standard version also available in green. The vivo X100s start at $555, while the X100s Pro starts at $690.
