Sony recently announced a new generation of Soundbar devices that come in a smaller size and feature improvements in audio quality, along with enhanced customization support.
Sony introduced a new generation of TV devices from the Bravia series recently and also unveiled new editions of Soundbar devices, including the Bravia Theater Bar 9, which is the top-tier edition in Sony’s new Soundbar lineup.
This edition features 13 speakers but comes in a smaller size, 36% smaller compared to the previous edition, and supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX technologies to enhance audio quality. Additionally, the Bravia Theater Bar 9 features surround sound push and is available at $1399.

Sony also introduced the Bravia Theater Bar 8, which comes in a smaller size and features 11 speakers for an amazing audio experience. It also supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX technologies to enhance audio quality, providing an excellent balance between audio power and size.
For a home theater experience, Sony introduced the Bravia Theater Quad, following the company’s previous HT-A9 edition. It features 4 wireless speakers and 16 vertical speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, VRR, and ALLM technologies. The speakers connect via a wireless control box, although this edition does not include a subwoofer. The Bravia Theater Quad is priced at $1799.
For a limited-space audio experience, Sony offers the Bravia Theater U neckband, designed in a “U” shape, with a battery life of up to 12 hours and fast charging technology. It supports pairing with two devices simultaneously and Dolby Atmos technology with the latest Sony TV devices, available at $300.
