Last month, a mysterious laptop from Lenovo appeared powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor on the Geekbench platform.

However, the performance results revealed by the benchmark didn’t quite meet Qualcomm’s claims about the new ARM chip.

A new Lenovo laptop has undergone Geekbench testing again, but this time under a different model name, 4810UV0100.

Surprisingly, the results seem promising this time. The latest Geekbench 6 results show a notable 49 percent improvement in performance compared to the previous standard score.

The new Lenovo laptop, equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite processor, achieved a single-core score of 2427 points and a multi-core score of 14254 points while operating under a “balanced” power plan.

In terms of the score, this marks a significant gain of 1628 and 11392 respectively. Several factors may contribute to this sudden increase in performance.

Perhaps the Geekbench 6 platform has implemented improvements that work more efficiently with these chips.

The experimental Lenovo laptop may also feature an enhanced cooling system leading to better overall results.

However, it’s important to note that the short duration of the Geekbench test may not fully evaluate the continuous performance capabilities of the device.

Another possibility is that as the Snapdragon X Elite approaches its release, software designed for the chipset may have been better optimized.

Qualcomm says the X Elite will come with power options ranging from 23 watts to 80 watts.

The latest benchmark indicates that the laptop is operating according to a balanced power plan. Therefore, determining the chipset’s exact Thermal Design Power (TDP) is challenging.

Furthermore, it seems Lenovo is testing multiple models using the Snapdragon X Elite chip, as this is the second Lenovo laptop to appear on Geekbench featuring the new ARM chip.
