Samsung has announced a budget-friendly version of its smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE, which will hit markets starting from June 24 at a price of $199.
The Galaxy Watch FE smartwatch features a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 396 by 396 pixels.
The Exynos W920 chipset powers this version and comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage capacity.
Samsung supports the Galaxy Watch FE with a 247 mAh battery. The smartwatch runs on Wear OS with the One UI 5 interface.
It is also equipped with IP68 water and dust resistance and supports water resistance up to 5ATM, making it suitable for underwater use during swimming.
Additionally, the watch meets military-grade MIL-STD-810H standards for durability. It supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo.
The Galaxy Watch FE includes Samsung’s BioActive sensor for heart rate monitoring and heart rate variability tracking and features an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and ambient light sensor.
Moreover, the smartwatch can track over 100 different sports activities. It will be available in markets starting from June 24 at a price of $199.
