If you’re buying a flagship or even a mid-range smartphone from Samsung, there won’t be a charger in the box, but of course, the company will sell you a variety of chargers if you want one.

Today, the company has released its most expensive charger yet, a 50-watt dual charger that can either charge one port at 50 watts or both simultaneously at 25 watts each.

These specs aren’t particularly impressive, but they’re sufficient for Samsung phones, none of which support wired charging beyond 45 watts, with most maxing out at 25 watts.

So, the specs are tailored specifically for Samsung phones, which is fine, but the price for this charger is €69.90.

Some might assume that since it’s Samsung, it will work better with Samsung phones, but it uses PD/PPS just like any other decent charger out there. So, in the end, you’re just paying for the brand.
