OPPO is gearing up to introduce a new generation of fast charging technology with the unveiling of the 120W SUPERVOOC Flash Charger.

This exciting development comes after the charger received certification from the Australian Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council (ERAC).

Details of the certificate reveal that the charger, bearing model number VCBBOAAH and manufactured by Dongguan Aohai Technology, is capable of delivering a maximum output of 120 watts, achieved through an 11-volt, 11-amp configuration.

Additionally, it supports a wide input voltage range, from 200 to 240 volts at 50/60 Hz, which aligns with Australian power source specifications.

The voltage and frequency specifications of 200-240 volts and 50/60 Hz are compatible with many regions worldwide, especially in Europe, Asia, Australia, and parts of Africa.

However, it is not universally compatible in all regions. For example, the standard power source in North America (United States and Canada) is typically 120 volts at 60 Hz. Similarly, Japan primarily uses 100 volts at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, depending on the area.

Modern OnePlus and OPPO devices like the OnePlus 12, OnePlus Ace 3, Find X7, and X7 Ultra feature the 100W wired SUPERVOOC flash charging.

The current 100W SUPERVOOC charger, available in China, operates at a maximum output of 11 volts and 9.1 amps or 100 watts at 200-240 volts. This translates to a slight power output reduction (11 volts and 7.3 amps or 80 watts) when used under 100-130 volt conditions.

The 120W charger has not been officially linked to any specific devices yet. It is expected to play a crucial role in powering future OPPO and OnePlus smartphones, providing users with a significant upgrade in charging speeds compared to current offerings.
