OneXPlayer has launched the X1 Ryzen Edition gaming laptop in China. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor with a maximum frequency of 5.1 GHz, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 4TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.

However, currently, it is only available for pre-order with a 32GB RAM and 1TB storage variant at a price of 6899 Chinese Yuan (approximately $952).

Apart from the Ryzen 7 processor, other aspects remain similar to the Intel Meteor Lake OneXPlayer X1. This means it still offers a 3-in-1 versatility, allowing you to use the device as a tablet, a small laptop, or a handheld gaming console.

The screen also remains unchanged, featuring the same 10.95-inch LTPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 540 nits brightness, 10-point touch support, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

The battery is 65.02Wh, slightly less than the recently launched Asus ROG Ally X. However, the good part is that you get two USB 4.0 ports with a dedicated OCuLink port for better performance with eGPU units (like OneXGPU).

On the other hand, the new gaming laptop from Asus includes a USB 4.0 port and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.

Other features of the OneXPlayer X1 Ryzen Edition include a tuned audio setup by HARMAN, a robust cooling setup, and an aluminum alloy body.

There has not been any information about global availability and pricing, but the company sells the Intel version in international markets. Therefore, the new release should be launched globally soon.
