According to a new rumor from China, OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme are all planning to equip their upcoming flagship devices with 6000mAh batteries.

For a very long time, 5000mAh was the de facto standard, but recently, we have seen some phones reach 5400mAh or 5500mAh, which may continue later this year.

That’s when the OnePlus 13, Oppo Find X8, and Realme GT6 Pro are expected to launch, all featuring 6000mAh batteries if this rumor proves accurate. This move could increase the weight of each phone.

The Find X8 will be officially released in October after Qualcomm unveils the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.

Interestingly, some previous rumors mentioned that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor would require larger batteries because it would be more power-hungry than its predecessor.

The CPU performance cores of the processor are expected to reach 4.2GHz. Therefore, there won’t be a noticeable increase in the battery life of these phones.
