Nubia unveiled its foldable clamshell phone, the Nubia Flip, today, featuring a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and a price of $415.

The Nubia Flip was first showcased at the MWC 2024 event, and today it officially launches with a distinct design, measuring 7.0mm thick when folded and weighing 209 grams. The phone features a high-quality design that supports folding and unfolding up to 200,000 times.

The phone comes with an external AMOLED display measuring 1.43 inches with a resolution of 466 by 466 pixels, which smoothly delivers notifications along with other tasks.

Additionally, the Nubia Flip boasts a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, and a pinhole for the distinctive 16-megapixel front camera. The screen also boasts 2160Hz PWM dimming and supports DCI-P3 color standards by 100%.

This version is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, featuring Adreno 644 GPU. The phone is available in three configurations: a main model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a top-tier model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Moreover, this version supports a 4310mAh battery with 33W fast charging, capable of charging the battery from 0 to 100% in 73 minutes, and the phone also supports NFC technology.

In terms of camera setup, the Nubia Flip features a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. The camera supports AI technology to efficiently capture quick photos with fast motion detection, and the camera system automatically activates night mode for low-light photography.

The Nubia Flip foldable phone is set to be available starting from $415, with Nubia offering three color options for this version.
