According to reports, Xiaomi is set to launch the POCO M6 4G phone for the global audience. This comes following the launch of the POCO M6 5G.

There have been several confirmations by regulatory bodies that Xiaomi plans to launch the new POCO lineup. These include the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand.

Other current models in the lineup include the Xiaomi POCO M6 Pro 4G and POCO M6 Pro 5G. Additionally, a phone listed as Xiaomi POCO M6 4G has been listed on the FCC website under a different title.

However, the NBTC published a list for this model, along with specifying its name; POCO M6.

According to details provided by the Thai regulatory body, the Xiaomi POCO M6 phone will support 4G LTE connectivity. The conclusion, therefore, is that Xiaomi will market the device as the POCO M6 4G, given that a 5G version has already been released.

The Xiaomi POCO M6 4G phone was referenced as model 2404APC5FG on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. The presence of the letter G in the name confirms Xiaomi’s intention to sell the device globally.

The smartphone will run on the HyperOS system and will come with a 4930mAh battery, according to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) documents.

It will also support 33W wired charging but is expected to have a slightly higher battery capacity than 4930mAh.

It is worth noting that the direct predecessor to the Xiaomi POCO M6 4G phone was launched almost two years ago. Therefore, it is unclear whether Xiaomi plans to release the model immediately.

More images of the upcoming Xiaomi POCO M6 4G phone from Xiaomi are expected to be available before the product launch.
