According to a source from Hardware Unboxed, MSI AMD Radeon 7000 series graphics cards are slowly disappearing from retail stores.

The company has yet to release any models of the 7700 XT and 7800 XT, two well-known graphics processing units that have recently seen significant price drops (Sapphire Pulse RX 7700 XT priced at $399.99 on Amazon).

MSI has now issued a statement confirming that the company has shifted its focus towards Nvidia RTX graphics cards.

While the report from Hardware Unboxed suggests the discontinuation of AMD Radeon graphics processing units, MSI’s statement does not explicitly confirm this.

The statement also does not confirm any termination of the partnership agreement between AMD and MSI regarding Radeon graphics cards.

Instead, the company stated, “Collaboration with AMD is necessary and crucial for us. We see a very positive development, especially in the motherboard sector.”

As of now, the scarcity of MSI AMD Radeon 7000 graphics cards has become very noticeable in retail outlets in Europe and Australia, with few graphics processing units available in the United States market.

However, the company has not released many options to begin with. It has only released four cards from the RX 7000 series, while it has released 147 cards from the Nvidia RTX 40 series so far.

This move from the company also suggests that we may not see many MSI Radeon graphics processing units for the upcoming RDNA 4 series.
