Motorola announced today the Moto Edge 50 Ultra phone, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and triple camera setup, and is available starting at 1000 euros.

The Moto Edge 50 Ultra features a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with a curved design, supporting a resolution of 2712 by 1220 pixels. The phone comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Additionally, the display supports a brightness of 2500 nits, DC dimming, and features 10-bit color depth. It also supports HDR10+ technology, with HD streaming support for Netflix and Amazon content.

This version is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options of 512GB or 1TB with UFS 4.0 capacity.

In the camera setup, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra comes with a 50-megapixel main sensor with 1/1.3-inch sensor size and 1.2µm pixel size, featuring Pixel Binning technology. The sensor also includes optical image stabilization and autofocus, with an f/1.6 aperture.

The second sensor is a 64-megapixel periscope lens for up to 3x optical zoom, featuring an f/2.4 aperture.

The third sensor is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 122-degree field of view and a 0.64µm pixel size, featuring an f/2.0 aperture. It includes autofocus and macro photography support.

The front-facing camera on the Edge 50 Ultra is a 50-megapixel sensor with a 0.64µm pixel size and an f/1.9 aperture, featuring autofocus. All cameras support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, as well as slow-motion video recording at 1080p resolution at 120 frames per second for the front camera and 960 frames per second for the rear camera.

Motorola offers this version with AI features for automatic camera shutter adjustment, shutter speed adjustment, stabilization level selection, and autofocus with subject tracking. It also includes an engine for enhancing image quality with finer details, clearer colors, and higher resolution.

The phone also supports Gorilla Glass Victus protection, with a fingerprint-resistant design, and IP68 water and dust resistance standards.

The Moto Edge 50 Ultra comes with a 4500mAh battery and supports 125W fast charging technology, as well as 50W wireless charging.

The phone supports Wi-Fi 7 technology, Bluetooth 5.4, and includes a USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 standards and DisplayPort 1.4. It also supports Dolby Atmos technology and Dolby with head movement tracking.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is available starting at 1000 euros.
