Minisforum, a company highly regarded for its impressive range of compact personal computers, recently unveiled the AtomMan X7 Ti, featuring an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and OCuLink support.

At the Computex 2024 conference, the company announced another addition to the AtomMan family, named the X7 Pt, which happens to be the first small form-factor PC from the company to support liquid cooling.

Unlike the Intel-powered X7 Ti, the AtomMan X7 Pt is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, which can be paired with up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 memory.

The Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, an eight-core chip from the Hawk Point family of APU units, features eight cores and 16 threads based on Zen 4 architecture, surpassing the performance of the Core Ultra 9 185H found in the X7 Ti.

Interestingly, this mini PC comes with a liquid cooling system that Minisforum claims will maintain temperatures and noise levels below 75 degrees Celsius and 40 decibels, respectively.

Although the system lacks a separate dedicated graphics unit, users can take advantage of the built-in OCuLink port, offering speeds of up to 8 gigabytes per second, much faster than the 5 gigabytes per second provided by Thunderbolt 4.

Minisforum offers options like the R3GAF eGPU and DEG1 graphics base, both supporting the OCuLink interface for faster connections.

The integrated Radeon 780M graphics processing unit based on the 12-CU RDNA 3 architecture is expected to deliver impressive performance for less intensive graphic workloads.

As for connectivity, the AtomMan X7 Pt boasts a wide range of ports, including four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-A) ports, dual USB 4 ports, dual 2.5G Ethernet ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio jack.

For storage, the device features dual M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots, and for wireless connectivity, there is an M.2 2230 slot to support WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

There is currently no information on pricing or availability, but more details can be expected in the coming weeks.
