Lenovo has introduced the new Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 device to the market, featuring a Mini LED display, Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, and RTX 4070 graphics card.

Lenovo has unveiled the official page for the “Yoga Pro 16s 2024 Extreme” device, which is being released globally under the name “Yoga Pro 9 16IMH9.”

The Yoga Pro 9 features the fourteenth generation of Intel Core Ultra 7 and Intel Core Ultra 9 processors, with both models including an NPU chip along with an integrated Intel Arc graphics card.

The device offers multiple choices for graphics cards, including RTX 4050, RTX 4060, RTX 4070, and Intel Arc. The premium model comes with the RTX 4050 graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 RAM, while other models feature 8GB RAM.

The dedicated graphics card consumes 100W of power. Users can choose between two screen options: a 16-inch IPS LCD display or a 16-inch Mini LED display, both offering 3.2K resolution or 3200 x 2000 pixels.

The display supports a 165Hz refresh rate and provides 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. It also features “TÜV Rheinland” standards to reduce blue light impact.

The Mini LED model boasts a brightness of 600 nits with SDR content, while HDR brightness reaches 1200 nits.

The IPS model of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 has a screen brightness of 400 nits. Users have the option to choose a touchscreen, glossy, or matte display for all device models.

In terms of storage capacity, the device offers up to 1TB in Dual M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots and is available with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB RAM.

Lenovo equips the Yoga Pro 9 with an 84Whr battery supporting fast charging, and its weight ranges from 1.93 to 2.05 kg.

In terms of audio, Lenovo supports this version with four speakers divided into 2 woofers at 2W each and 2 tweeters at 2W each, while the premium model with the dedicated graphics card includes six speakers. All models support Dolby Atmos technology.

For connectivity, the Yoga Pro 9 features the following ports:

  • USB-A port supporting USB at 5Gbps and USB 3.2 Gen 1
  • USB-A port supporting USB at 5Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and Always On
  • USB-C port at 20Gbps supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, USB PD 3.0, and DisplayPort 1.4
  • USB-C port supporting Thunderbolt 4, USB 4 at 40Gbps, USB PD 3.0, and DisplayPort 2.1
  • HDMI port supporting 4K resolution at 60Hz
  • 3.5mm headphone and microphone combo jack
  • SD card reader slot
  • Power connector.
