Leica has announced the SL3 camera featuring a full-frame sensor and an internal mirrorless design, launching with the new Maestro-IV processor at a price of $7200.

The new Leica SL3 camera boasts a fully metallic design with a leather finish, a full-frame sensor, and variable resolution technology offering 60, 36, or 18-megapixel options. This technology maximizes pixel utilization for capturing higher-quality images in all lighting conditions.

Additionally, the camera offers a dynamic range of 15 stops and an ISO range of 50 to 100000 for enhanced performance in photography.

The Leica camera features a professional autofocus system incorporating three technologies to support capturing sharp and clearer images even in low light, with intelligent object and scene recognition for quick and professional shooting of the best shots.

Moreover, the camera supports Leica L-mount standards ensuring compatibility with the complete range of Leica lenses as well as zoom/telephoto lenses from Leica partners.

The camera provides an integrated experience with the EyeRes viewfinder, guaranteeing users professional-grade viewing, along with a 3-inch touch-sensitive screen that supports folding, with H265 and Apple ProRes encoding support for 8K resolution.
