Latest Truecaller Features Include Answering Phone Calls with Your Voice

Truecaller has announced that its app will be able to answer phone calls on behalf of the owner using their actual voice.

This feature is called “Personal Voice.” Truecaller will utilize Microsoft Azure AI Speech to implement capabilities previously possible only with Duplex.

Additionally, you can access Personal Voice through the AI assistant and train the AI model by reading a few lines of text provided by the app.

Once trained, it will substitute for the user and answer calls when necessary. The text will be displayed on the phone screen at all times, allowing the owner to choose to respond to critical calls.

It’s worth noting that this feature is similar to the AI Assistant announced in 2022, which was only available in select countries.

Truecaller says that Personal Voice can be tested by a select group of customers first.
