Apple has started preparing for the launch of a new generation of iPhones, and previous reports indicated that Apple will adopt a new design for the rear camera module of iPhone 16 phones, which has been further confirmed by the latest leaked images.

The leaked images recently revealed the design of an iPhone 16 Pro case that includes the action button on the side frame. Today, the leaked images reveal cases for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, illustrating the design of the rear camera unit in these models.

The images confirm the camera design details previously mentioned in leaks, which differ from the distinctive circular design of previous versions.

The leaked images also indicate Apple’s move towards adopting a vertical design for the camera unit, with the LED flash positioned to the right of the camera unit.

Reports also suggest that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will feature two distinct camera rings that protrude from the back cover, a design inspired by the iPhone X.

On another note, reports indicate that Apple is adopting the vertical design for the rear camera unit in the main versions of the iPhone 16 series to support these models with the spatial video recording feature.

It is worth noting that the leaks also confirm Apple’s support for its flagship phones this year with the action button, along with the “Capture” button featuring pressure sensitivity, which is also available in the Pro models.
