Apple’s upcoming iOS 18 update will introduce a new feature to iMessage that adds effects to highlight specific words in texts.
Apple is set to hold its WWDC 2024 conference on June 10, where it will announce new features for its systems and services.
Recently, attention has been focused on the iOS 18 update, with “MacRumors” revealing details about some anticipated changes in the iMessage app.
The new update will allow users to add effects to their texts, which can help emphasize certain words in messages. These effects will enable animated highlights for specific words, making them stand out.
Additionally, analyst Mark Gurman reported in Bloomberg that iOS 18 will feature a redesigned Control Center. However, Gurman needed to provide detailed information about the changes in the Control Center design.
MacRumors confirmed these details and noted that Apple has already started testing the new Control Center design in iOS 18.
Previous leaks also indicated that AI technology will be a major focus in the upcoming iOS 18 update.
