Infinix already has four devices in the Note 40 lineup, including the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 4G, and Note 40 Pro+.

Now, it seems the company is working on a fifth member in the lineup; the Note 40 5G. This phone has been spotted on the Google Play Console platform and has also been certified by FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and BIS. It has also appeared on Geekbench already.

The Note 40 was launched in March, supporting only 4G and powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 Ultimate processor.

On the other hand, the Note 40 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor capable of running on 5G. This will be paired with 8GB of RAM in one variant, but there might be more memory options available in other variants.

The phone will run on Android 14. In the Geekbench 6 database, the phone managed to score 802 points in single-core and 2032 points in multi-core performance.

The Note 40 5G features a display with a resolution of 1080 × 2436 and a pixel density of 480 pixels per inch. It supports a dual-band Wi-Fi network and packs a 5000mAh battery.

The design of the phone is expected to be similar to that of the Note 40 series, unsurprisingly, and there will be three cameras on the back, but details about these cameras have not been revealed yet.
