HTC Launches U24 Pro with 6.8-Inch OLED Display and 120Hz Refresh Rate

HTC has launched the U24 Pro smartphone in Taiwan, starting at approximately $585. This new device boasts key features such as a 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 7 processor, a triple rear camera setup with 50MP sensors, wireless charging support, and more.

The HTC U24 Pro features a 6.8-inch dual-curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and a Corning Gorilla Glass layer. It also includes a dual-color LED notification light on the front.

For photography, the device is equipped with a 50MP front camera. On the back, it has a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

The camera system is enhanced with AI features such as AI-enhanced group photos, AI gesture GIFs, AI low-light photo enhancement, and 4K video recording.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor powers the HTC U24 Pro, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1. It comes with a 4600mAh battery that supports 60W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The device runs on Android 14 out of the box.

Other features of the HTC U24 Pro include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, dual SIM slots, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC support. The phone also has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, measures 8.98mm in thickness, and weighs 198.7 grams.

The HTC U24 Pro is available in Taiwan in two variants: the 12GB + 256GB model priced at 18,990 TWD ($585) and the higher-end 12GB + 512GB model priced at 20,999 TWD ($650).
