Honor Launches Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro Phones in the Chinese Market

Honor recently unveiled the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro phones in the Chinese market, featuring the same design and a 50MP primary camera.

The Honor 200 phones have a 5200 mAh battery capacity and 100W fast charging technology, with a 50MP primary sensor in the rear camera.

Both phones also feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor powers the Honor 200 Pro and supports 66W wireless charging, while the Honor 200 comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and does not support wireless charging.

Additionally, the company has equipped the Honor 200 Pro with a dedicated Honor C1+ chip to enhance wireless charging and cellular connectivity.

The Pro version includes an Omnivision OV50H primary sensor with a 50MP resolution, a 1/1.3 sensor size, 1.2µm pixel size, and f/1.9 aperture, with the camera supporting optical image stabilization (OIS).

Honor 200

The Honor 200, on the other hand, features an IMX906 primary sensor with a 50MP resolution, a 1/1.56 sensor size, an f/1.95 aperture, and OIS support.

The Honor 200 and 200 Pro have a telephoto camera featuring an IMX856 sensor with a 50MP resolution, supporting up to 2.5x optical zoom, an f/2.4 aperture, and OIS.

The camera also includes a “Harcourt portrait” mode, developed with the French company “Studio Harcourt”. This mode simulates studio lighting with the support of artificial intelligence, enhancing lighting, brightness, and shadows for perfect portrait shots.

Additionally, the third sensor in the camera setup is 12MP with ultra-wide angles and autofocus, supporting macro shots from a distance of 2.5cm.

Honor 200

Both phones also feature a 50MP selfie camera and run MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14.

The Honor 200 will be available in a base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $372, while the Honor 200 Pro will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $483.
