As previously reported, HMD Global is working on a new smartphone called the HMD Skyline. Earlier this month, leaked images of this device revealed a design inspired by the Nokia Lumia 920.

The smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, unveiling details about its internal components.

According to the Geekbench listing, the smartphone features a motherboard codenamed “Tomcat,” housing 8GB of RAM and an octa-core processor with four cores running at 1.96 GHz and the other four at 2.40 GHz. Based on these details, the processor is expected to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.

In addition to the processor, the Geekbench listing confirms that the device will launch with Android 14. Regarding its performance, it scored 1027 points in the single-core test and 2857 points in the multi-core test.

Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing doesn’t provide further details about the device. However, some specifications have been leaked previously.

According to an earlier report, the HMD Skyline will feature an FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.

The device is said to debut with a 108MP primary camera paired with an ultra-wide camera and a third lens, a macro or depth sensor. On the front, it is expected to have a 32MP selfie camera.

The device is also rumored to be powered by a 4900mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Additionally, the device is expected to come with stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP67 water and dust resistance. While the price hasn’t been confirmed, rumors suggest it could be around €520 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
