BenQ recently launched the W5800 projector in India. The projector is now available globally through BenQ directly or via external retailers.

In select European countries, the model is available for pre-order through specific retailers.

The BenQ W5800 projector features 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160), ensuring clear and detailed images on screens up to 200 inches.

The projector uses a laser light source matrix to provide an impressive brightness of 2600 lumens, making it suitable for various lighting conditions. This high brightness, coupled with 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and BenQ’s HDR-PRO technology, results in vivid and accurate colors.

The projector covers 100% of Rec.709 with Delta E<1 and Delta E<2 grayscale tracking, ensuring true Hollywood colors out of the box.

ISFccc certification enhances image and color performance customization, providing preset day and night modes for optimal viewing in different lighting conditions.

The advanced color temperature adjustment of the projector offers 11 levels of white balance control elements, allowing for precise adjustments for the most accurate colors. The W5800 projector also supports 24P playback, displaying movies at 24 frames per second without judder, maintaining the original image clarity.

Additionally, the optical system of the W5800 projector features a 14-element, 7-group glass lens that reduces color variances and enhances 4K image clarity.

The optimized Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE) algorithm of the projector enhances image depth by independently adjusting gamma across over 1000 zones.

Connectivity options for the W5800 projector include dual HDMI 2.0b ports, two USB Type-A ports, SPDIF, and eARC, allowing seamless integration with various entertainment systems, including 7.1 channel audio setups and Dolby Atmos.

The projector’s 1.6x auto zoom/zoom ratio and two-dimensional lens shift (±50% vertically and ±21% horizontally) facilitate flexible installation and positioning without sacrificing image quality.

With a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and a lamp life of up to 25,000 hours in economic mode, the W5800 projector is designed to last long and deliver exceptional performance.

The multi-channel, low-noise cooling system ensures quiet operation. The projector design features an engraved lens ring and vertical dust-proof slots to prevent light and dust from affecting performance.

The home theater projector is priced at $5999 in the United States and $8999 in Australia.
