ASUS recently unveiled a powerful new medical device specifically designed for healthcare environments, the MDS-M700.

It appears that this new device has its priorities set elsewhere: precision, performance, and patient safety. The MDS-M700 features support for 4K UHD image processing, providing clearer and more detailed visualization of human tissues, blood vessels, and body structures. This translates to clearer diagnoses and more informed treatment plans.

Hospitals can be noisy environments, but the MDS-M700 operates quietly at 45 decibels, creating a less distracting environment for healthcare professionals during critical procedures.

The MDS-M700 is designed for sterile environments, featuring a compact design with integrated casing, making it easy to clean and maintain in operating rooms and other sterile settings.

Moreover, its alcohol resistance is a highly useful feature, considering that sterility is of utmost importance in hospitals.

The MDS-M700 also adheres to strict medical safety industry standards, including CE, FCC, and IEC 60601-1-2 certification. The latter ensures that the computer operates flawlessly within electromagnetic environments, such as in the presence of MRI imaging and other scanning devices, thereby reducing the risk of interference with other equipment or potential harm to patients.

Internally, the device features a 13th Gen Intel Core processor and offers an option for Nvidia RTX A5000/A4000 graphics cards. It also comes with three Ethernet interfaces for versatile data transfer. Additionally, it supports optional 4K UHD capture cards.

The ASUS MDS-M700 medical computer is scheduled for release in April 2024 and will be showcased at the upcoming HIMSS24 global medical conference.
