Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices are typically used at home to power a computer for short periods, especially during a power outage, to prevent data loss.

Asus recently introduced the ROG Mjolnir at Computex, a portable power source designed for easy transport with an integrated handle for convenience.

With two USB-C ports, one providing up to 100W and the other up to 65W of power, and three USB-A ports capable of charging devices up to 10W each.

Asus also equipped the ROG Mjolnir with four outlets that can be used to power a gaming tower or monitor, among other things. The 768Wh battery provides enough power to run a high-end desktop gaming PC for an hour.

The ROG Mjolnir features a large display showing ongoing charges and the remaining battery life.

Another practical feature is the built-in Qi charging pad for wireless smartphone charging. The hammer handle can also be detached and used as a flashlight, which charges automatically in the base.

Asus emphasizes that the battery takes only ten milliseconds to activate in the event of a power outage, and the ROG Mjolnir can be recharged using a separately available solar panel.

Asus has yet to confirm any details about the price or availability of the ROG Mjolnir.
