Vivo is set to unveil its flagship phones, the Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s, this month in China.

Today, Jia Jingdong, Vice President of the Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand Strategy and Products in China, took to Weibo to share the first official teaser ads for the X100 Ultra and X100s devices.

In addition, key details about both devices have been provided.

Regarding the Vivo X100 Ultra, Jia Jingdong describes it as the culmination of their efforts, akin to the powerful entity Thanos (the codename for the Vivo X100) from Marvel Comics.

The device has been praised for its professional camera capabilities, including specialized modes for various shooting scenarios such as high-speed sports, low-light portraits, and close-up shots.

The device’s close-up photography capabilities are highlighted, particularly in capturing concert photography, which poses unique challenges such as low-light conditions and fast movement.

The X100 Ultra is presented as a technological marvel, featuring a Zeiss APO super zoom lens with a resolution of 200 megapixels supported by a Samsung HP9 camera sensor, along with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 main camera with 4.5-level CIPA stabilization.

According to reports, the camera setup will also include an ultra-wide lens with a resolution of 50 megapixels. These cameras will be integrated with advanced image stabilization and AI-powered features.

The Vivo X100s, a member of the X100 series, caters to users who prefer flat screens.

Despite this modification, the X100s camera retains stunning shooting capabilities comparable to its Ultra counterpart. The phone’s camera offers innovative features such as human street photography mode and AI-based image enhancements, including the ability to simulate different seasons in a single image.

The phone is expected to debut as the world’s first device powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor, which appears to be a tweaked version of the Dimensity 9300.
