Delta, an emulator capable of running Nintendo games, was forced to change its logo after Adobe threatened legal action.

Adobe warned Delta that their logos were too similar, claiming that Delta’s app icon infringed on Adobe’s well-known “A” symbol. Adobe demanded that Delta change its logo to avoid violating the company’s rights.

Reportedly, Delta also received an email from Apple informing the developer that Adobe had requested the removal of the emulator app.

If you recall, Apple began allowing older game emulators on the App Store, provided they do not offer pirated games for download.

Delta was one of the first companies approved for listing and topped Apple’s charts for some time, likely drawing Adobe’s attention.

The developer explained to Adobe and Apple that the logo was a simplified version of the Greek letter “delta,” not the letter A.
