The Computex 2024 event unveiled several upcoming gaming laptops competing in the market, and among the releases was the ADATA XPG Nia device, distinguished by its memory upgradeability feature.

The ADATA XPG Nia is the first gaming device from the brand, and it’s also the first gaming device developed with a user-upgradeable memory feature. ADATA offers the device with LPCAMM2 memory, which comes independent of the mainboard, allowing users to upgrade more smoothly.

The upgrade feature isn’t limited to RAM; the device also supports storage capacity upgrades, featuring an M.2 2230 slot.

During the event, the company noted that the ADATA XPG Nia device is currently under development, indicating that the gaming device’s development still needs to be completed.

ADATA emphasized its current focus on computing in designing this release, so the company is expected to unveil 3D models of the device with more details, enabling users to build their 3D models of accessories and the gaming device structure.

This will allow users to later transform the ADATA XPG Nia device into a mini desktop computer, a media streaming device, or even a file server.

The device is expected to be shipped with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor supporting the Asus ROG Ally X device, or it may be shipped with Ryzen 7 8840U or 7840U processors or the next generation of processors.
