Chinese giant Huawei has announced the Pura 70 series, which includes the main variant, Pura 70 Pro, and Pura 70 Pro Plus.
Huawei Pura 70 Phone
Huawei introduces the Huawei Pura 70 with a length of 157.6mm, an LTPO OLED screen measuring 6.6 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports a display resolution of 2760 by 1256 pixels.
The phone also features Kunlun Glass protection and is available with 12GB RAM and storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
In the rear camera setup, the Pura 70 includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with variable lenses ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. Additionally, it features two sensors introduced in the P60 version, including a 13-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle lenses and an aperture of F/2.2, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with an aperture of f/3.4, supporting up to 5x optical zoom and optical stabilization.
The Pura 70 also houses a 4900mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse charging, with the fast charging adapter included in the box.
The phone runs HarmonyOS 4.2, and the main model of the Pura 70 is available with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at $760, available in red, blue, white, and black colors.
Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Pro Plus Phones
Huawei introduces the Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Pro Plus with different designs on the back cover. The Plus version comes with 16GB RAM, while the Pro version comes with 12GB RAM.
The Pura 70 Pro Plus supports satellite connectivity for emergency messaging, supporting Beidou and Tiantong satellites.
Both phones have the same specifications for the screen, battery, and cameras. The screen features LTPO OLED technology with a size of 6.8 inches and a display resolution of 2844 by 1260 pixels, with advanced Kunlun glass protection based on basalt. They also feature a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and variable aperture lenses from f/1.4 to f/4.0, along with optical stabilization similar to the Pura 70.
Huawei upgrades the telephoto camera to 48 megapixels with an aperture of F/2.1, supporting up to 3.5x optical zoom and optical stabilization. The third sensor is 12.5 megapixels with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
The Pro models support super autofocus in macro shots from a distance of 5cm, and the Pura 70 Pro Plus features engraved designs on the back cover, available in three different colors influenced by lighting, while the Pura 70 Pro comes with a traditional design on the back cover.
Both phones feature a 5050mAh battery and support fast charging at 100W, wireless charging at 80W, and reverse charging at 20W. They run on HarmonyOS 4.2.
The Pura 70 Pro is available in black, white, and purple colors, starting at $900 for the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro Plus is available with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for $1245, in white, black, and silver colors.
