Ubisoft kicked off its 2024 pre-conference with a bang, showcasing an exciting 13-minute gameplay video for Assassin’s Creed Shadow.

The game feels like an epic journey, featuring dual protagonists and diverse combat options. Players take on the roles of a skilled ninja and a powerful samurai, introducing a fresh combat approach to the series.

This flexibility allows you to choose between the stealth maneuvers favored by the ninja or the direct, forceful approach of the samurai.

The gameplay retains the series’ signature blend of open-world exploration, street brawls, and strategic stealth mechanics.

The video depicts how non-playable characters react differently depending on the chosen character; crowds scatter in fear of the samurai while they bow respectfully as the ninja passes.

Ubisoft highlighted the game’s core concept: “Two different assassins, two entirely different combat modes! Choose your way to achieve your goals as you like, and write a new legend in the Warring States period of Japan!”

Assassin’s Creed: Shadow is set to be released on November 15, 2024, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
